What is the Essentials plan?
A real Canadian business phone number that rings your existing cell phones, for $99 a year. Callers hear your greeting and menu, calls ring up to 4 phones at once (or up to 8 in order), and missed calls go to voicemail that lands in your email.
What does it cost to use?
The plan is $99 a year. Calls are pay-as-you-go at carrier rates: about 1.89 cents a minute for a call answered on the number and 3.0 cents a minute for a call forwarded to your cell (an incoming and an outgoing leg). There are no other fees unless you add extra numbers or pay-per-use add-ons.
Can I keep my existing number?
Yes. Porting is included.
Can I add desk phones later?
Yes. When you outgrow Essentials, we move you to hosted 3CX with the same numbers and credit your setup.
Is it a "virtual phone number"?
Yes. It is a virtual business number: it is not tied to a building or a SIM card and rings wherever you tell it to.
