Before you switch
- Find your contract end date and any cancellation fee.
- List every phone number on your bills, including fax, alarm and elevator lines.
- Note your current call flow: who answers, what happens after hours.
- Count desk phones and decide who could use the app instead.
- Check your internet: see internet requirements.
During the switch
- We build the new system on a temporary number.
- Staff try the app and desk phones for a few days.
- We submit the port with a signed letter of authorization.
- On the port date, early in the morning, numbers move and we test each one.
After the switch
- Confirm every number rings correctly, including fax.
- Update your 911 address if anything changed.
- Cancel the old lines only after we confirm the port is complete.
- Keep the final bill for your records.
What usually goes wrong (and how we avoid it)
- A forgotten number stays on the old bill. We inventory every number first.
- The fax machine stops working. We move fax to email or an adapter.
- Staff do not know the new phones. We do a short training session on day one.

Quick answers
Will I have to pay to leave my current contract?
Maybe. Check your contract end date and any early cancellation fee before you switch. We can time your move to the end of your term.
What about my alarm and elevator lines?
Some alarm panels and elevator phones need a traditional line or a cellular communicator. Tell us about them and we will plan for them.
